Voters living in several Tulsa metro school districts will vote on school board members and bond issues Tuesday, though voter turnout will be light.
The Tulsa Public School District has two board seats on the ballot, while Bixby and Tulsa Technology Center each have one.
Two districts are asking voters to approve bonds.
Union Public Schools wants to issue $18,830,000 in building bonds and $2,170,000 for transportation.
Jenks Public Schools is asking to issue bonds totaling $12,170,000 for building, equipping, repairing or remodeling buildings, and another $650,000 to purchase transportation equipment.
The annual school elections traditionally see light voter turnout.
Both Jenks and Union voters tend to pass the bond issues.
By law, Oklahoma voters must approve school bond measures by a "super majority" of 60% or better.
