Traffic stopped by multiple flash mobs on Saturday

You may have noticed some unusual traffic issues on Saturday.

The Tulsa World states community theater advocates performed flash mobs along Cherry Street, Brookside, Utica Square, and Guthrie Green.  All four flash mobs happened within two hours of each other.

They were said to be protesting proposed cuts to the city performing arts programs by Mayor Dewey Bartlett.

There were said to be around 30 people who participated in the flash mobs.  They sang songs, danced, and handed out literature.

The mayor gave his ideas for cuts to the city council this past Thursday.
