Traffic stop leads to massive cocaine bust

Drugs found said to be worth $100k.

Tulsa is a known problem area for meth. While the number of meth labs in town grows, it's not the only place with a big problem.

Two people were arrested after a traffic stop on Interstate 20 in Mississippi led to the discovery of $100,000 worth of cocaine.

The Hinds County Sheriff's Department says deputies pulled over the vehicle shortly after midnight Tuesday.

They were given permission to search the vehicle, that's when they found the cocaine hidden in the vehicle.

The deputies involved in the stop became suspicious while talking to the men in the vehicle.

The two men were arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute.

Police believe the two men were passing through Mississippi on the way to Pennsylvania from Texas.
