Three wrecks, one fatal shut down Hwy 412 bridge over Keystone Lake

The wrecks happened on the west end of the bridge, probably due to freezing fog

Freezing fog left some roads slick early Thursday, and one bridge in particular saw a series of crashes occur which left one person dead.

The wrecks happened on the Highway 412 bridge over Keystone Lake, a few miles west of Sand Springs.

Capt. George Brown of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol tells KRMG two eastbound vehicles and one westbound crashed on or near the west side of that bridge.

One other person was transported as a result of a second wreck; the third wreck was a non-injury crash.

One of the eastbound wrecks proved fatal.

OHP shut down the eastbound lanes of US 412 to clean up the fatality wreck.

They have not yet released the name of the fatality crash victim.
