Three tornados confirmed during Wednesday night’s storm

The National Weather Service says 3 EF-0 tornados touched down in the Tulsa Metro

TULSA, Okla. — The National Weather Service confirmed several tornados touched down in the Tulsa Metro during Wednesday night’s storm.

3 EF-0 tornados hit the Tulsa Metro.

An 85mph tornado developed over Woodward Park in midtown Tulsa, where large tree limbs were snapped. The tornado then moved through a neighborhood just east of the park, where a couple of trees were uprooted, and large tree limbs were snapped.

In Broken Arrow, an 80mph tornado damaged barns, snapped large tree limbs, and damaged a small grain silo just east of County Line Road on East 31st Street, and then dissipated in the open country north of East 31st Street.

A few homes were damaged, primarily from the trees or tree limbs falling onto them. The tornado dissipated near Utica Square.

Another 80mph tornado touched down in Catoosa that only managed to snap some large tree limbs.

No injuries were reported during the storms.
