Three injured when plane hits trees

OHP: Plane was making emergency landing, struck trees

A plane crash near Wann, Oklahoma, in Nowata County sends the pilot and two passengers to the hospital.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol tells us the single-engine Beechcraft airplane crashed about 1:29 p.m. Sunday after the pilot from Alabama started to have engine trouble.

50-year old Paul Woolard tried to make an emergency landing when he crashed into some trees.

Woolard and 54-year old passenger Randy Watson were hospitalized in critical condition.

25-year old passenger Ryan Bozeman was reported to be in stable condition.

The plane was flying from Washington County, Kansas, to Shawnee, Oklahoma, when it crashed.
