Teenager accused of robbing cell phone store

Officers arrest a 17-year-old teen for robbing a cell phone store Saturday evening.

Tulsa police say the robbery happened at the Cricket Wireless Store located near 31st and Garnett.

The teen walked into the store about 7:45 p.m., pulled a gun, and demanded cash and cell phones.  Police say he was given an undisclosed amount of money and phones.

The teen is currently in the Tulsa County Jail.

Officers tracked the suspect down to a nearby neighborhood a short time later.  Police say he was then taken into custody.

His name and mugshot isn't available because he's a juvenile.
