Teachers running for office in November elections

Tulsa, Okla. — Hundreds of teachers are running for office in November elections.

They say they want to be at the table when legislatures make decisions about public education spending and teacher wages.

Those issues were at the root of walkouts earlier this year in states including Arizona, Oklahoma, and Kentucky.
