The “full-contact” dance took place after Felicia Smith sat the boy in front of the entire class.
The 42-year-old ended by hugging the student and telling him, “I love you baby, happy birthday.”
KHOU obtained court records that show Smith claims she gave in and performed the dance only after the class "convinced her to do it." She says the class urged the boy to sit down and when he did, music began playing and the dance began.
The three and a half-minute dance was recorded on video and is in the custody of police in Texas.
The young man admitted to investigators he became aroused when his teacher rubbed him with her hands and her rear-end, and put her head between his legs. He also says he slapped her butt on a couple of occasions.
The Aldine school district released the following statement.
“The teacher was removed from the campus during the investigation and has not returned. The district takes this allegation seriously and is fully cooperating with prosecutors. The safety and security of our students will continue to be a top priority in Aldine ISD.”
Smith was charged with having an improper relationship with a student.
Her bail has been set at $30,000.
