Taco Bueno manager gets ambushed walking to his car

An Owasso Taco Bueno manager was attacked early Saturday morning as he left his restaurant.

Police say the violent armed robbery happened near East 86th and Highway 169, around 4 a.m.

The suspect forced the manager back into the store at knife point, and implied he had a gun in his pocket.  He also physically assaulted the manager during the robbery.

Police say the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money from the restaurant's safe.

Once the suspect was gone, the manager ran to a nearby store, where a security guard called for help.

The manager told officers the suspect had a "thick Hispanic accent."  He was wearing a dark colored hoodie, dark colored shorts, and slip-on shoes.  Police say he also had on aviator sunglasses, a blue bandanna, and he wore gloves.
