Suspects caught stealing items, then returning for more

Detectives set up a sting at a Dollar General store Friday evening and end up arresting three suspects.

Tulsa police say Jerry Davidson, Rhonda Murphy, and LeAndrae Gray were caught red handed stealing from the store located near 61st and Lewis.

Detectives were at the location because the three suspects are accused of stealing from the store before.  No word if detectives received a tip the three suspects would try again on that particular evening.

Police say the three suspects arrived together and brought tote bags with them into the store.  They were caught on surveillance video stealing items from the shelves and in sealed stock boxes and putting them into the bags.

When their bags would fill up, the suspects would take them out to their vehicle and return for more.

Detectives eventually made their presence known and took the three suspects into custody.

Police say they were caught stealing $2,419.17 worth of stolen items from the store.

All three suspects are currently in the Tulsa County Jail.
