A Tulsa bank robbery suspect will not serve any prison time, after the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office says it made a mistake.
Assistant D.A. Erik Grayless says Daniel Rosson should not have been given a deferred sentence and probation, but that’s what he got.
“He took a plea deal on a deal that should never have been given, quite honestly. It was a mistake by our office. We accept responsibility for that,” Grayless said.
Rosson was accused of robbing the bank inside the Walmart at 111th and Memorial back in April.
But he says once a plea deal is given, there are no ‘do-overs’.
“He’ll have to follow the probation. He’ll have to do all the requirements. And rest assured, we’ll make sure he follows all the requirements,” Grayless said.
With a deferred sentence, if Rosson successfully completes his probation, he will not have the crime on his record, and he will not be classified as a felon.
