Student accused of threatening to blow up school

A high school student is accused of threatening to blow up his school Friday afternoon.

This happened around 3:30 p.m. on Highway 20 at Collinsville High School.

Collinsville police say the unnamed student made the threat to a teacher after school.  The teacher then called for help.

Bomb sniffing dogs were called out to the school and no explosive devices were found.  Officers also searched the school and found nothing. 

The student was taken into custody.  Police didn't release the student's age.
