Storms knock out drivers license computers state-wide

Looking to get a drivers license? Be prepared to wait.

Yesterdays storms knocked out drivers license computers state-wide.

Right now, the Department of Public Safety is asking people to be patient. OHP Lt. Ben Crockett says, "At this point, we don't have any idea when we'll get those computers back up and running."

Only drivers license offices are having problems. Tag agencies don't appear to be affected.

Lt. Crockett tells KRMG that some progress is being made. Crockett says, "Anything that can be done manually... they are working through that process."
