State Rep. takes action against Oklahoma ammo shortages

Ammunition continues to be scarce at stores across Green Country.

Now, Tulsa lawmaker is taking action to find out why.

Gun owners in south Tulsa and Broken Arrow were fed up with the lack of ammo on store shelves.

Ritze tells KRMG that he wants to know if other stores in Oklahoma or nationally are having shortages, if all brands of ammo are equally hard to acquire, are manufacturers saying when the shortage will subside, and are manufacturers building their production capacity?

They called State Rep. Dr. Mike Ritze, who went straight to the source. Ritze says, “Constituents have questions for me about why these stores are unable to keep ammo in stock and I am seeking clarification on the issue so I can answer their questions.”
