Stabbing victim calls police, then rejects help

TPD: Victim 'shut the door on us'

A stabbing victim changes his story, then rejects help from the police.

Tulsa Police Corporal Dan Miller tells us the 25-year old victim called police to a house near 1100 North Denver Avenue about 10:32 p.m. Monday.

"He refused to go to the hospital and then told us he didn't want us there or didn't want to file a report, walked in the house and shut the door on us," Miller said.

He first told police that someone in a white truck had stabbed him, but then said his girlfriend had stabbed him.

We're told the victim had been stabbed in the hand and leg.

No one was arrested.
