Some Tulsa area schools closing Monday due to winter weather

Because of distance learning, classes will still be in session for many students

TULSA — Tulsa, indeed nearly the entire state, got a wake up call from Old Man Winter Sunday - 2020 isn’t done with us, just yet.

Preliminary snow fall totals reported by the National Weather Service indicate parts of the metro got more than six inches of the white stuff.

That will impact schools already operating under pandemic conditions.

Also, be sure to tune in for the KRMG Morning News from 5:00 - 9:00 a.m. Monday morning for the very latest on road conditions.

Monday should remain dry, but another round of snow is possible for Tuesday.
