Skull identified as missing Tulsa woman

TULSA, Okla. — A 23-year-old woman, from Tulsa, vanished more than 24 years ago.

The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office says the family of Greta Riles didn’t report her missing for two decades because of her lifestyle.

Investigators say Riles had a criminal history.

The remains were later sent to the University of North Texas for a DNA analysis.

In 1992, a hunter found a human skull and bones on the north edge of Tulsa.

Deputies are still searching for the cause of death.
