Sister loses control of her car, crashes into brothers truck

Icy roads led to accident

18-year-old Kylee Caruso was on her way to work when she lost control of her car on a curve.

Struggling to avoid a crash, Kylee looked up and was shocked to see who was in the vehicle coming directly at her.

"I knew once I came around the corner that it was my brother, and I was going to hit him," she told WCSH in Robbinston, Maine.

Caruso’s brother Logan was on his way home from work when he saw the car coming toward him. He was able to steer away where he crashed in to a snowbank after Kylee brushed the back of his truck.

"There was nothing I could do," she continued.

Kylee said Logan was quick to react when he realized who was driving the other car. "You could see his eyes just widen, and he just ran over to my car."

Logan admitted to being panicked. "I almost fell to the ground when I got out of my truck, he began. "I kept hollering to her and hollering to her. So many emotions were going through my head at that time."
