The ad reads like the dream location for a wedding.
"Need a place to party? With a full catering kitchen, state-of-the-art AV equipment, dance floor, ample parking, beautiful outdoor grounds, and room for up to 260 people, our LEED Platinum certified Brightwater Center has everything you need for your wedding reception or special event."
What that doesn’t say is, Brightwater is a sewage-treatment plant.
But hold your wedding with only a wall between you and raw sewage ?
The Seattle area facility is only three years old and anxious for some non-traditional revenue.
"I know, who would’ve thought," asked Brightwater’s Susan Tallarico.
Susan told KIRO-TV the plant's biggest selling feature is money.
"Price, it always comes down to price, she explained. “A lot of the other venues in this area are basically wineries," Susan pointed out.
An eight-hour rental at Brightwater will only set you back $2,000.
But wedding planner Jacky Grotle says even with the great deal, people may balk.

“I think a lot of people will have a hard time getting past what really happens there,” she began.
“You're having food and beverage. It somehow doesn't feel right."
At least one couple disagrees, and has already booked their wedding at the treatment plant.
