Sapulpa teen accused of burglary, trying to grab deputy's gun

A Sapulpa teen is behind bars after the Sheriff's Office says he snuck up behind a woman who was carrying groceries to her house, grabbed her, and then grabbed an air compressor from her house and ran away.

18-year-old Zane Fox was spotted not long afterward by deputies, who say they had to tase him when he wouldn't follow commands.

“He told the deputy he had been shooting up meth prior to the interaction with the deputy,” said Creek County Chief Deputy Fred Clark.

They say when they took Fox for medical treatment, he pulled free and tried to grab a deputy's gun, but he was quickly subdued.
