Rogers County Sheriff’s Office to start using ‘NextDoor’

ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. — The Rogers County Sheriff's Office say they're going to be using a social media platform to help keep residents safe.

They announced they'll be utilizing the website NextDoor to share important news and emergency notifications.

NextDoor is a social networking service for neighborhoods where users submit their real names and addresses to the website to get localized updates for their area.

The sheriff's office say they're using the service to "make Rogers and even better place to live."
