Robbery, theft counts filed against suspect

Tulsa, Okla. — A man is now charged after Tulsa police say he robbed a woman and stole from a gas station.

Prosecutors filed two counts against Tavon Spencer Wednesday,  including second degree robbery.

Last Thursday officers say Spencer approached a woman walking near 3100 South Highway 169 and grabbed her purse.

Once there, she tried to get the clerk's attention.

The woman said she would give him cash from a gas station ATM.

We're told Spencer got some money and items from the store, but officers did catch him.
