RED ALERT TRAFFIC: Fatality accident on Will Rogers Turnpike

Semi struck wall and caught fire

Westbound traffic is open now on Will Rogers Turnpike after a fatality accident early this morning.

The accident has not been cleaned up yet.

It appears that the lanes were opened to let rush hour traffic through, but will be shut down again to clean up.

Eastbound traffic is slow through the construction as well.

It is just west of the Adair exit.

The accident happened in that construction zone.

Traffic was being re-routed through Big Cabin, and likely will be again when the lanes are closed again.

At 4:30 this morning a semi caught fire after hitting a concrete barrier.

The driver ran across the highway on the eastbound side and was struck and killed.
