Rain chances diminish mid-morning, return on Thursday

NWS: Around 30-percent chance of precipitation redeveloping this afternoon

Tulsa's rain chances will diminish once the rain moves out of the Tulsa area this morning.

Mark Plate is a meteorologist at the National Weather Service office in Tulsa.

He tells us, "In the Tulsa area it looks like around a 30-percent chance of some precipitation redeveloping this afternoon."

No severe weather is expected with today's rain in the Tulsa area.

We're told it's going to be dry tomorrow and Wednesday with rain chances returning from Thursday through the weekend.
