Protesters take anti-Obama message to the overpasses

A small group of protesters took to an overpass over a busy highway Tuesday to protest the Obama administration, and call for the president's impeachment.

They tell KRMG they're part of a national organization which has chapters in all 50 states, Overpasses for Obama's Impeachment.

For two hours, from 7-9:00 a.m., they waved signs and flags on the overpass where the Broken Arrow Expressway crosses underneath 177th E. Avenue (Lynn Lane), facing westbound traffic heading in to Tulsa during the rush hour.

The group's stated intention is that "Barack Hussein Obama be Impeached (sic), removed from office, and held accountable for his actions while serving as President."

The same group planned another demonstration on the E. 111th St. overpass which crosses Highway 75 just north of Glenpool from 5-7:00 p.m.
