The priest says the texts began after a failed exorcism on a teenage girl.
Father Marian Rajchel says the demon wasn’t cast out and is now sending him the messages through the girl.
"The author of these texts is an evil spirit which has possessed her soul," he explained.
"Often the owners of mobile phones are not even aware that they have been used like this, however, in this case it is clear."
Father Rajchel told the local media, the devil used technology more than people realize.
The priest from Jaroslaw, Poland claims one of the messages was a threat, saying "she will not come out of this hell. She’s mine. Anyone who prays for her will die."
Father Rajchel said he replied to that message with one of hope.
His reward was a text proclaiming, "shut up, preacher. You cannot save yourself. Idiot. You pathetic old preacher."
The priest summed up the story by telling reporters, “clearly this young girl has been possessed, and needs further help."
