Price of gasoline continues to decline

Gas prices fell a bit more Thursday night.

Prices are down to $3.39 at some QuikTrip locations.

The peak was $3.82 per gallon last month.

Analysts predict the price will continue to drop.

Patrick DeHaan, with GasBuddy.com, says, "In areas that have featured skyrocketing gasoline prices amidst stable oil prices, refineries continue to be beset with shutdowns, maintenance, and other problems that have hampered production of gasoline.”

DeHaan says, “Relief is on the way and will likely arrive in a few weeks.”

For a brief time in January prices reached a low of $2.75 per gallon.
