Polls close in Oklahoma, ballots being counted

Trump with 7 point lead entering the day

After a rocky start at a few polling places things smoothed out as Oklahoma turned out in good numbers for the first time as part of Super Tuesday. Many polling place reported heavier than normal traffic with others saying crowd seemed normal.

Going into voting, Trump lead both Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz by around nine points with Ben Carson and John Kasich both below 10%

Claiming dissatisfaction with traditional candidates and the direction of the country, Donald Trump voters turned out in heavy numbers in the south with Trump taking Georgia with big numbers. Trump also projected to win in Alabama and Tennessee.

But the bigger story may be in Virginia where The Donald is virtually tied with Marco Rubio with an even bigger shocker going on in the northeast. Exit polling in Vermont show Trump trailing John Kasich be a slim margin.
