Poll: Americans deny aging process

Government figures: 7 in 10 will require long-term care

Some Americans apparently are denying that thay are a part of the aging process.

A new poll finds Americans aren't doing much to prepare for long-term care they may need as they age.

The poll by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research finds that just 20 percent of those surveyed think they'll need long-term care someday, but government figures show some 7 in 10 will actually require it.
