Police arrest man for kidnapping, domestic assault

A man police call "extremely violent" was arrested on Friday on counts ranging from domestic assault to kidnapping.

Tulsa police say 34-year-old Jarion Hopson has lived in the city for seven years and has already been investigated six times for domestic violence.

Court records show Hopson was convicted in 2011 for assaulting a woman he had been dating.  After serving six months he was released and a woman came forward saying he had caused her to go into hiding after he broke her arm.

Hopson remains in the Tulsa County Jail.
