Plane makes emergency landing in OKC

A Delta Airlines flight heading from Salt Lake City to Orlando made an emergency landing in Oklahoma City on Friday because of an intoxicated passenger.

A flight attendant tells Newsok.com 28-year-old Derek Maas became verbally abusive with the crew and head-butted an employee.

It wasn’t the passenger’s best idea.  The attendant then struck Maas and multiple passengers restrained him.

Officers heard Maas state "he wished he was black so that we would just shoot him and he could film it and show the world about the unfairness."

Police state Maas acted out more once inside a police car.  However, he apparently went from aggressive to depressed pretty quickly.

No word on how long Maas’ layover will be at the jail in OKC.
