OHP identifies pilot injured in plane crash at Tahlequah airport

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — A plane arriving at Tahlequah Municipal Airport on Friday crashed, hurting at least one person, airport officials say.

OHP says the 1979 Air Tractor was operated by 27-year-old Tyler Sherrick of Welch, Oklahoma.

Airport Manager Kelly Crittenden says Sherrick was taken to the hospital after the crash.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol and fire crews came out to the airport.
