(PHOTOS) Oklahoma Warriors Honor Flight

On October 4th, 2022, around 70 Oklahoma military veterans traveled to Washington, D.C. on an Oklahoma Warriors Honor Flight.

For many of the veterans, it was their first trip to the nation’s capital.

Veterans from World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War were flown to Washington, at no cost to them, too see the memorials to their service.

Stops on the trip included the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the WWI Memorial and more.

Organizers say these honor flights cost about $150,000 each and are mostly funded through donations.
