Residents in Duncan are mourning following a tragic death over the weekend.
A young girl was killed by a pet dog at her home Sunday afternoon.
The Lawton Constitution reports when officers arrived at the scene, the mixed-breed dog was dragging the girl around the yard and attacking her. When officers approached, the dog charged them and was fatally shot.
