OHP: Pedestrian laying in roadway in southbound traffic

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating after an auto-pedestrian accident injures a man on Highway 75 near 66th Street North.

We're told 42-year old Douglas Ray Pittman of Collinsville was struck by a motorist while laying in the roadway in southbound traffic about 11:30 p.m. Monday.

Pittman had activated his hazard lights before he had exited his car.

The OHP identified the other driver as 49-year old Wade Dorsey of Broken Arrow.

He was admitted to the hospital with head and leg injuries.

No charges were filed against either driver.
