A shopping space as big as 800,000 sq. ft. is headed to the west Tulsa area, a mile north of the Tulsa Hills Shopping Center.
The new outlet mall will be managed by the same company that operates Woodland Hills Mall, Simon Malls. Simon has outlet malls throughout the country and is bringing one to Tulsa, which is great news for Tulsa shoppers.
“I won’t have to go to Oklahoma City anymore.” One shopper told KRMG.
One concern shoppers at Tulsa Hills have, though, is the added congestion.
No word yet on which stores will be included, but we do know the land has already been leased and construction could start as soon as next month.
“It’s getting a little crazy with the traffic and everything, but it is kind of nice.” A shopper said.
