Steven Roundtree was arrested for abusing the woman who is pregnant with his child. Roundtree is accused of hitting the woman in the face and trying to strangle her twice.
Police reports obtained by KRMG show Roundtree used a pillow once and placed it over the woman’s face and held it there.
The woman grabbed a phone to call police but Roundtree took the phone and destroyed it leading to a charge of interrupting a 911 call.
He was taken into custody around seven hours later not far from the apartment.
Roundtree ran from the apartment but later came back and took the woman’s car as well.
