One car gets good rating in frontal crash test

Mazda5 was among worst performers

Some new cars ratings are released but passing grades are hard to find.

Only one of 12 small cars has received a rating of "good" in new frontal crash tests.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety says the four-door Mini Cooper Countryman got the "good" rating.

The institute says the Mazda5 was among the worst performers it tested because its side air bags didn't deploy and its driver's side door unlatched.

Some of the small cars that received an "acceptable" rating are the Chevy Volt, Mitsubishi Lancer and Subaru BRZ.
