Oklahoma Attorney General schedules town halls to talk about Obamacare lawsuit

Scott Pruitt will hold three town halls in the Tulsa area next Wednesday

Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt plans a series of three town hall meetings in the Tulsa area next week to talk about the state's lawsuit challenging the Affordable Care Act.

In a statement sent to KRMG, Pruitt said “my office is leading the fight to protect Oklahoma from the overbearing policies of Washington. At this meeting, I'll be discussing several key issues including Oklahoma’s Affordable Care Act lawsuit and our efforts to stop EPA overreach. I encourage Oklahomans to attend this meeting so they can hear about the work of the AG’s Office and share with me their thoughts on these important issues.”

All three meetings are Wednesday, July 16.

Pruitt will take some questions from the public during the meetings.

The times and locations are:

  • 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. Sand Springs, Crescent Café, 3417 S 113th West Ave. #D4
  • 12 – 1 p.m. Sapulpa, Ken's Pizza, 750 E. Taft Ave
  • 5-6 p.m. Bixby, Bixby Public Library, 20 E. Breckenridge Ave
