NWS: Expect arctic front next Tuesday

Tulsa, Okla. — The National Weather Service says more rain and isolated thunderstorms are possible tonight into tomorrow.

Friday evening into Saturday there is a chance for moderate to heavy rain at times with 1 to 3 inches of more rain possible.

Sunday and Monday will give us a break from the rain, but another strong cold front moves through the area with a chance for rain.

Any ice or snow accumulations will be minimal.

Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, wintry precipitation is possible across northeast Oklahoma.

Freezing weather is possible next Tuesday and Wednesday as temperatures in the low 30s and upper 20s are possible behind an artic front.
