Oklahoma has plenty of firearms instructors. Now, a growing number happen to be female.
Kara Gage and Dee Page just joined that small group. Gage says, "There are one or two, maybe, in the Tulsa area. There may be three to five in western Oklahoma."
Gage tells KRMG that they teach the same material as male instructors but they do it with a woman's touch. Gage says, "They want to learn safety. From just basic pistol to protecting their family and their kids inside and outside the home."
