NFL stadiums to ban seat cushions, purses, camera bags

The new list of things not allowed is huge

Say so long to that seat cushion, camera bag and yes ladies, even your purse.

The new security measures set to go into place this football season will make it seem more like a trip to the airport than to a game.

Anything brought into a stadium will have to be in a clear plastic bag no larger than 12” x 6” x 12. Oh, and did we mention each stadium will sell a bag like that with your teams logo on it.

Among the things that won’t be allowed are;

How convenient.

Purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, seat cushions, luggage, computer bags, camera bags, or any clear plastic bag larger than 12"x6"x12."

Jeffrey Miller is the NFL's chief security officer he says "our fans deserve to be in a safe and secure environment. Public safety is our top priority. This will make the job of checking items much more efficient and effective. We will be able to deliver a better and quicker experience at the gates and also provide a safer environment. We appreciate our fans' cooperation."

One positive note, if you have nosebleed seats don’t worry. You can still bring your binoculars and smartphones.
