60 new jobs coming to Broken Arrow

Engineering and manufacturing jobs on the way

Arlington, Texas based L3 Communications will bring the new jobs to Broken Arrow over the next two to three years.

L3 designs and builds equipment used in flight simulators for training purposes.

Governor Mary Fallin was in Broken Arrow today for a speech at the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce. She stopped by L3 AMI to help announce the 60 new jobs.

“We have a very stable workforce here, which is not always the case in some locations. To get people that want to stay here is very important to us.”

L3 President Lenny Genna was also in town for the announcement. He told KRMG Oklahoma’s Quality Jobs program and the Broken Arrow community were big contributing factors to choosing to expand in BA rather than start somewhere new.

A facility expansion is required to house the new jobs, so L3 plans to build a new 15,000 square-foot workspace on the same property in Broken Arrow.

The new positions are already being filled.
