New Jimi Hendrix album to be released on Tuesday

Tracks recorded between 1968 and 1970

The new release is called "People, Hell, and Angels" and it will include 12 songs done in that two year span.

The tracks are said to be very ornate with brass, keyboard, percussion and even a second guitar on several.

Hendrix website jimihendrix.com says "People, Hell & Angels presents some of the finest Jimi Hendrix guitar work ever issued."

Some of the songs are said to have been leaked in various forms over the years but this will be the first time they have been put together.

The music is available for streaming now but the hard copy release won't happen until Tuesday, March 5th.

Hendrix died from an accidental drug overdose at the height of his popularity in 1970.
