Tue, May 23, 2017 — You never know what you're going to find while diving in Oklahoma lakes and rock quarries.
On Sunday, two divers decided to brush up on their skills and explore a rock quarry in Lenapah. During this time, they found five cars submerged.
Nowata County deputies tell us a criminal investigation is underway.
KRMG's told one of the vehicles was registered as far away as Texas.
“The way they were submerged and the years, make and model of the vehicles have us believing there is some criminal activity involved with them,” sheriff’s office said.
