Multiple agencies conduct sobriety checkpoint

Sun, June 25, 2017 — KRMG has learned six people were arrested for DUIs overnight in Tulsa, during a sobriety checkpoint.

Police say the ENDUI campaign went from 10:30 p.m. to 2:15 a.m., near East Pine and North Harvard.

“Members of the Tulsa Police Department, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office participated in the enforcement checking 150 vehicles,” police said. “The effort resulted in 6 DUI arrests, 111 citations issued, 4 drug arrests and 1 felony warrant arrest.”

The numbers are said to be preliminary.
