Multi-agency investigation leads to a child pornography arrest

A multi-agency investigation into child pornography ends at the doorstep of an Owasso 31-year-old man.

Adolphius "Jamon" Webster was taken into custody Tuesday morning around 10 a.m. after a month-long investigation.

Everything started on January 3rd, when a member of the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children task force was able to connect to an IP address to download child pornography.  A task force member says the investigator eventually traced the IP address back to Webster's computer.

Members from the FBI and ICAC delivered a warrant to the suspect's house on Tuesday.  A task force member says Adolphius "Jamon" Webster confessed to looking at illegal pictures of children.

"Webster understood there was a file sharing folder, but did not know he was sharing files," the task force member said.

He was taken into custody on one count of distribution of child pornography and one count of a violation of the computer crimes act.

His arrest report also states Webster hears voices telling himself to harm others and himself.
