Mötley Crüe tops the weekend ‘things to do’ list

Plenty to do in town, but it’s going to be hot

Kick the weekend off with a baseball game downtown at ONEOk Field.

The Drillers take on the Arkansas Travelers at Friday 7:05 p.m. As usual on Fridays, there will be a fireworks show immediately following the game.

The teams will take the field again Saturday night for another game.

For something a little different, you can watch reality TV in the making. Discovery Channel’s ‘Street Outlaws’ will film some racing near the airport from 3 p.m. Saturday until well into Sunday morning.

Then on Saturday, the Tulsa Shock take on the Washington Mystics inside the BOK Center at 7 p.m.

Perhaps the biggest draw to downtown this weekend is Mötley Crüe at the BOK Center on Sunday. It's the band's final tour and features Alice Cooper as the opening act.
