A Bixby woman is arrested while attempting to drive her kids to school drunk.
An arrest and booking report shows 33-year-old Sarah Rose Whitmarsh was pulled over near the 15000 block of South Memorial Drive around 7:39 a.m. Thursday. She admitted to police she hadn't slept and may have had a few drinks.
Additionally, the report shows Whitmarsh admitted that her drivers license had been suspended and she had taken prescription medicine.
Upon failing a field sobriety test, she was arrested for driving under the influence, child endangerment and driving with a suspended license.
Her two children were driven to school and were not harmed.
